The minutes of the previous meeting, Monday, December 29,1902, were read, approved and adopted. Trial. Officer Thomas H. Worthington. Northwestern District, reported for having been four minutes behind his squad coming in off duty 4.09 A.M., to day, was excused. Assignments of Magistrates. The secretary reported that on December 29th,1902, after the adjournment of the Board, the department had been notified by Justice Daniel J. Loden, Western District,that he desired to be absent from his duties on December 30th,1902; and that he, the secretary,had as-signedAdditional Justice Nelson Foe,Jr., to sit at the Western District Station-house in the place of Justice Loden on said date.
