OGC OFFICE OF BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore, Monday, January 19, 1905. Board met; present, Messrs. Upshur, Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting, January 16, 1903, were read, approved and adopted. Permission To Give away Unsalable Property. Communication, as follows, was received from Captain Charles W. Gittings, Northeastern District, and the permission asked for therein was granted.- "Northeastern District, January 17,1903. Thomas F. Farnan, Marshal of Police. Sir:- There is an old carpet, taken from the Matron's room, and a lot of old window shades at this station. They are unsalable and I respectfully ask permission to give them away. Respectfully, CHARLES W. GITTINGS, Captain." Piano - - Northeastern District. Communication, as follows, was also received from Captain Charles W. Gittings, Northeastern District, and the permission asked for was granted:- "Northeastern District, January 16,1903. Thomas F. Farnan, Marshal of Police, Sir:- The Kranz-Smith Piano Company, 109 N. Charles street, ask permission to place a piano in the station, for the use of the officers, free of cost. Respectfully, CHARLES W. GITTINGS, Captain." , Sergeant filliam H. Busch, Northwestern District. In the matter of complaint from James Higgins, against Sergeant William H. Busch, Northwestern District, as referred to in the proceedings of January 14th.,1903, a report, as follows, was received 249
