| pOGC 255 that the same be referred to the Marshal with instructions to take steps immediately to have the matter complained of remedied:- Honorable The Board of Police Commissioners, Baltimore, Md. Gentlemen:- We, the undersigned, tenants of offices, in and near the N.E. corner Baltimore & North streets, hereby petition your Honorable Board as follows:- That steps be taken by the Police Department to do away with the habit certain idle and noisy persons have of congregating at this corner between the hours of 12 and 2 at noon and during the night, to the annoyance of those of us whose work is disturbed by their disorderly conduct. Moreover, that this loafing interferes with the proper ingress and egress of persons having business to transact with the undersigned, among whom one, having night communication of importance with the "Sun" newspaper office, is seriously interfered with in such communication.
