cOGC 267 Requisition. Requisition No. 643 was drawn on the Mayor & City Council for |38,727.32, to pay the salaries of the Secretary, Assistant to Secretary, Counsel and the three Police Physicians for the month of January; to pay the salaries of the Marshal and Deputy Marshal from January 16, to 31,1903; to pay the Police Force for two weeks from January 15, to 28,1903, and sundry bills:- Total for Salaries...............$36,341.86 Expenses............... 2,385.46 (See requisition copy-book). Donation. Upon the recommendation of the Captain of Detectives, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Detective John H. Mayer be permitted to retain Fifty Dollars, donated to him by St. Mary's Seminary of Baltimore City, for services in bringing Reverend Eugene Foree^insane, from Robeline, La., to Baltimore, and delivering him to Mt. Hope Asylum. Repairs. Pavement of Southwestern District. Upon the requisition of Captain George League, Southwestern District, recommended by the Deputy Marshal and approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that the sidewalk of the Southwestern District be repaired.
