Officer John J. Delany, Central District, was fined $1.00 for having failed to attend School of Instructions, 7.20 P.M., February 2, 1903. Officer Patrick S. Costello. Northwestern District, reported for having been sixteen minutes late for School of Instructions, February 2, 1903, was excused. Officer Edward A. Stocksdale, Southern District, was tried upon the following charges, found guilty thereof and fined £25.00 and warned:- CHARGES:-l3t...Violating Rule 30, Section 2, Rules & Regulations, by being under the influence of liquor while on active duty, 2 A.M., Feb.1,1903. 2nd...Violating Rule 13, Section 8, Rules & Regulations, by being in the watchbox of B. & 0., Fort Avenue & Lawrence streets, about 2 A.M., February 1,1903, on other than police business. 3rd...Violation of Rule 30, Section 2, by using language unbecoming an officer towards his superior at 2 A.M., February 1,1903." Officer George Latchford, Southern District, was fined $1. and warned for having been nineteen minutes late for School of Instructions, 11 A.M., February 3, 1903. Requisition Account of Police Examiners. Requisition No. 31, was drawn on the Mayor & City Council for §464.25, to pay the salaries of the three members of the Board of Police Examiners and their Secretary for the month of January 1903 and sundry bills:- Total for Salaries..........§400.00 Expenses.................... 64.25 Assignment of Magistrate. Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., was authorized to sit at the Southern District Station-house from 8 A.M., February 3,1903 until 8 A.M., February 9,1903, in the place of Justice William J. Robertson, who advised the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties on account of sickness.
