| 339 Repairs Northern District Sta-House. Upon the recommendation of the Lieutenant of Mounted Police, approved by the Deputy Marshal and Marshal, it was ordered that the walls of the stable or. Second Avenue and on Beach Avenue and that the walls of the driveway and prison of the Northern Station be pointed up to the height of about four feet with Portland cement. The vote upon the repairs to Northern District Station-house, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur.....Yea, Commissioner Fowler,.Yea. (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No. 975). Chairs for Northern District. Upon the requisition of Captain Bernard J. Ward, the recommendation of the Deptity Marshal and the Marshal, it was ordered that chairs as follows be provided for the Northern District Station-house, viz:- Two chairs for use behind the desk in Assembly Room, one for the use of the Magistrate, and six for the sitting room in said Station-house.
