338 the permit asked for in the attached application be granted. In this connection I will state that in the future these matches will be more closely observed and should there be the least semblance of any pre-arranged agreement between the participants the bout will be stopped at once and the management notified that no requests for permits in the future will be considered. Very respectfully, THOMAS P. FARNAN, Marshal." In view of the recommendation of the Marshal, as mentioned above, it was ordered that permit applied for by Charles J. Weiss, as above, be granted. See recommendation of Marshal filed as Exhibit No. 972. Repairs to Patrol Wagon. Northern District. Upon the recommendation of the Lieutenant of Mounted Police it was ordered that the patrol wagon of the Northern District be repaired in accordance with the suggestion of the said Lieutenant of Mounted Police, and that J. H. Deitrich be employed to make said repairs at a cost of §82.50. The vote upon the repairs to Northern District Patrol Wagon as above, was:- President Upshur......Yea, Commissioner Fowler...Yea. (Recommendation filed as Exhibit No.973). Repairs To Dayton Wagon. Upon the recommendation of Lieutenant of Mounted Police it was ordered that the light dayton wagon of the Department be repaired in accordance with the suggestions of said Lieutenant of Mounted Police, and that J. H.
