OFFICE OP BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimore. Md.. Friday. March 13. 1905. Board met; present. Messrs. Upshur, Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting. Wednesday, March 11, 1903, were read, approved and adopted. Appointment of Policemen. The following named officers promoted from Probationery list to the grade of Policeman to-day qualified, bonded and entered upon the discharge of their duties:- Alonzo W.Lockwood, George R. Ballard, George T. Smith, Arthur J. Stritch, Albert E. Guertler, John J. Woods, Appointment of Probation Officers. The following named appointed Probation Officers in the Police force to-day qualified, bonded and entered upon the discharge of their duties:- William H. Moore, Daniel B. Ruhl, ' Andrew C. Dietrich. Wallace J. Porter. Requisition. Requisition Ho. 646 was drawn on the Mayor & City Council for $4o,421.23, to pay the salaries of the three Police Commissioners for quarter ending March 15,1903; to pay the Marshal and Deputy Marshal from March 1st to 15th,1903; to pay the police force for two weeks from February 26th. to March 11th. and sundry bills:- Total for Salaries............£37,541.92 Expenses............ 2,879.31 (See Requisition copy-book).
