| from the Lieutenant of Mounted Police with statement of expenses and keep of said horse from September 28th,1902, to Parch 23rd, 1903,-$134.77, and the secretary was directed to make claim against the United Rys.and electric Company for this amount. —- Gambling--- investigation The Board continued its investigation into the subject of the existence of alleged gambling houses in the City of Baltimore,as referred to in the proceedings of I'arch 20th,1903,and March23rd,1903. The following named persons appeared before it,in answer to its summonses and were examined by the Board,a report of which examinations was made stenographically, and will be found filed as Exhibit No. 996.;- Isador Boodnan, City Editor,Baltimore Herald, Edgar Goodman, Baltimore American, Captain Edward Schleigh. Central District, Captain Bernard J.Ward, northern District, Marshal Thomas E.Farnan. Serneant Frank J.Bromley. Northern District, George W.V/orsham,Jr.,-Baltimore Herald. The secretary was directed to notify Captains Edward Schleigh,Central District,and Captain John J»Fullera,Western District, to come before the Board,Friday, March 27th,1903,in connection with the investigation above mentioned.
