Upon the recommendation of the Marshal it was ordered that permit
be issued to Feter Kelly and Samuel Harris, 1437 East Baltimore street,
to hold a wrestling contest at Bavarian Hall,April 2nd,1903,and that the price for same shall be $10.
Application was received from Charles J.Weiss to hold a wrestling match at Music Hall, April 14th,1903. It was ordered that this application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation.
Lawn-mower,--Northern District. Upon the requisition of Captain Bernard J. Ward,Northern District, the recommendation of the Deputy I'arshaland the approval of the Marshal, it was ordered, by the following vote,that a lawn-mower be purchased for the Northern District.
The vote upon the purchase of a lawn-mower,as above, was

Charges Against members to be investigated by-superior Officers.
It was ordered that the Marshal be directed to again call the attention of the several Captains to the order issued by the Board October 27th,1902,upon the subject of investigating fully charges against officers, in order that the cases may be presented intelligently at the time of trial; to warn the Captains to take heed themselves and notify their subordinates that the Board will have brought before it on the charge' of failure to perform his duty any official responsible for the failure to investigate properly charges preferred against members as required.
Officers Sending persons and letters to the members of the Board to interfere in their behalf when charged with dereliction of duty.
It was ordered that the Marshal be directed to cause the several police Captains to call the attention of the members of the force to
paragraph 10,Rule No.30, Rules and Regulations of the Police Department,upon the subject of charges,etc., as hereunder, and to have it
