and did use language uncalled for and unwarranted to me without any provocation on my part. I respectfully ask that this Honorable Board investigate this matter and right the wrong that has been done me. Kespectfully yours, Wn. H.Daniels, Attorney at Law, 307 St.Paul st. In response to the request made by the Board,under date of March 28th,1903, to assign one of his deputies to be present at the school of instructions at the Station houses,with a view of instructing the members of the force in the matter of giving testimony in court,etc., as referred to in the proceedings of March 27th,1903, Mr.Robert M.Mc.Lane, the State's Attorney, called upon the Board to day, and expressed himself as entirely willing to co-operate with the Board as desired, but asked that the subject be postponed until after the present tern of Court in order that he and his assistants may have more time to devote to it. jSambling Investigation. The Board continued its investigation into the subject of the existence of alleged gambling houses in the City of Baltimore,etc., as referred to in the proceedings of March 20th,23rd,25th and 27th,1903,- The follov*-ing named appeared before the Board and were examined,the report of which examination was made stenographically,and will be found filed as Exhibit No. 1000. Round Sergeant John J. Strott, Round Sergeant Lewis Hahn, Round Sergeant Joseph Mc.Govern, Sergeant Frank Parr, Sergeant Michael Hughes. The secretary was directed to summon Henry Geblein, Fayette street, between Holliday and Gay,and Edward Young, Holliday street near Baltimore, to appear before the Board,Wednesday, April 1st,1903.
