OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. —-----0000—------ Baltimore, Wednesday, April 1st,1903 Board met; present,Messrs Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting,Monday,March 30th,1903, were read, approved and adopted. Trial. Officer John H. Derr,Southwestern District, was tried upon the following charge,preferred by the Marshal upon complaint of Mrs.Florence A. Berry,406 North Strieker street,as referred to in the proceedings of March 6th and March 25,1903;--- Charge;-OFFICIAL MISCONDUCT:- In that Officer John H.Derr, without just provocation,assaulted one Joseph Berry,16 years of age, between 8.30 and 9 o'clock, P.M., March 13, 1903,in the neighborhood of Fulton avenue and Saratoga streets,while attempting to arrest the said Joseph Berry. Officer Derr was acquitted of the above charge. |
