OFFICE OF THE BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS.__ -------^--0000 —----- Baltimore, Thursday. April 9th,1903_. Board met; pre3ent,Messrs Upshur,Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting.Wednesday .April 8^,1905, were read, approved and adopted. Trial. _Qfficer August Sommers, Eastern District, reported for having been ten minutes behind his squad coming in off duty,8.25 A.M., April 5th,1903, was excused. Registration Books. Delivery of. A communication was received from the Board of Supervisors of Election, requesting this Board to accept from it the registration 3ooks of the election precincts of Baltimore City, on Saturday, April 11, and deliver the said books on Monday morning April 13th., to the officers of Registration in time for the commencement of registration, 9 o'clock A.M. The Board declined to accede to said request, but promised if the said Supervisors of Election delivered the Registration books, referred to to the respective Station-houses on Monday morning,April 13th., the police detailed for duty at the several registration offices would deliver the registration books as they reported at the Registration Offices. Requisition._____ Requisition No. 648 was drawn on the Mayor & City Council for $36,699.15 to pay the salaries of the Marshal and Deputy Marshal from April 1 to April 15,1903; to pay the police force for two weeks from March 25th., to April 8,1903, and sundry bills:- Total for salaries...............§35,205.74 Expenses............... 1,493.41 (See requisition copy-book).
