4r-;' ^v Repairs to Western District _Station-h.ouaea. Upon the requisition of Captain John J. Fullera, Western District, the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that the roof of the stable and cell room be repaired and painted. The vote upon the subject of repairs to Western District Station-house as above, was:- President Upshur.........Yea, Commissioner Morris......Yea, Commissioner Fowler......Ya. (See Exhibit No. 1010.) Saloon. Conoway, Pratt St. near South. An unsigned communication was received upon the subject of saloon kept by one Conoway on Pratt street near South, where the writer alleges the liquor law is violated. It was ordered that the said communication be referred to the Marshal to give this complaint his special attention. Complaint vs. Officer Jame3 A. Monks, Central District. A communication was received from Dr. William S. Thayer, President Tuberculosis Commission complaining of violation of Ord. No. 16, approved March 3, 1898, on the part of Officer 399- Officer James A. Monks, Central District, by having expectorated in one of the cars of the Edmund-son Avenue line, United Railway, April 7, 1903. It was ordered that Officer James A. Monks be cited before the Board upon formal charges. The receipts were as follows:- Fines & Costs, April 7---------------------$27.90 Board adjourned at 1.45 P.M. Y .
