This account is also for payments to seamen, &c. at the Lazaretto, amounting to S 1.244. The men being paid at the rate of S 16 per month, the difference between that and g 8 per month, allow, cd by the decision of the Secretary of >\ ar, amounting to g 574, was disallowed; and g 96, nKo, there being six of the men whose receipts were not produced, making, together, g 670 disallowed. For payments to seamen at the Lazeretto. amounting to g581 47. These men were paid at the rate of Si 2, Si 6. and S 18 per month. The difference deducted arises from an allowance only at the rate of g 8 per month, under the decision of the Secretary of War. For payments to seamen as above, at the rate of g 16 per month. The difference arises from an allowance being made only of g 8 per month, under the decision of the Secretary ol War. For similar payments. The sum deducted arises from the difference between g 8 per month, allowed, and S 16 per month, claimed by the Corporation. Similai- payments to seamen of the galley Vigilant, at the rate of g 16 per month. The difference arises from g 8 only per month being allowed.
