Received, of A.'Redgester, two hundred and twenty six dollars and ninety-four cents, in full for the services of Captain John Kennedy's company, at North Point, for one week. GEORGE KEYSER. State or Maryland,") Baltimore county, ss. j Be it remembered, that, on this fifth day of February, 1821, before the subscriber, one of the justices of the peace for said county, personally appeared Captain John Kennedy, of the city of Baltimore, and, after being sworn on the Holy Evangels of Almighty God", de-poseth and saith, that the money contained in the receipt hereto attached, was paid over to the company commanded by him. the said John Kennedy; that receipts were taken at the same time from the men, but are mislaid, to the best of his knowledge and belief; and further this deponent saith not. At the same time appears William Hall, of the same place. Lieutenant in Captain John Kennedy's company, and. on his oath as above, saith, that he saw the money mentioned in the above receipt paid over to the men composing said company, and saw the men sign the receipt roll at the same lime, but does not know what has become of the same; and Inrther this deponent saith not.
