| THE JEFFERSON1AN, TOWSON, MARYLAND. November 13, 1920—Page 5 It may have been thought that when one acquired certain fundamentals of automobiling-that he or she could drive a car. Generally, people were of the opinion that, given a knowledge of the steering apparatus, the handling of the clutch, the brake, and a few other things, lights, switch key, etc,, they might honk! honk! their joint and several ways hither, thither and yon. But this is not so. In reality, one should carry a learned lawyer—one gifted in the matter of statutes duly passed, aproved and finally interpreted by the highr courts. This legal addition to the automobile tool box is something that the automobile driver of the future must take into consideration. In the tool box also ought to be carried all the latest municipal ordinances, State laws and county laves of the territory traversed, for this will help wonderfully in keeping out of jail. There are more automobile laws In existence now than the average motorist could read in a month of Sundays. SALES AND LEGAL NOTICES. Caleb S. Hobbs & Sons, Auctioneers, Pikesville, Baltimore County, Md. SALES AND LEGAL NOTICES. ADMINISTRATRIX'S PUBLIC SALE —OF— PERSONAL PROPERTY OE THE LATE BENJAMIN C. KNETZER. IN MEMORIAM. WOLF—In sad but loving remembrance of my dear wife, Fredarica. Wolf, who departed this life seven years ago Nov. 10, 1913: Sleep on, dear wife, and sweetly rest, I needed you, but God knows best. God's will be done—He doeth well, But how I miss you no tongue can tell. So I'll try and still my heartache And do my best to smile, For God will let me come to you After a little while. Rica, when the weeping willows over me weep And in my silent grave I sleep, It will be then, and not before, That I will think of you no more. Gone but not forgotten. By her loving husband, GEORGE M.
