YOUNG AND OLD ALIKE SEEK COOLING WATERS.
Water 'meters in Baltimore county are working overtime these hot, sultry days, for in many sections when the thermometer w as hovering around the 90 mark kiddies could be seen with improvised shower baths on lawns, giving their little bodies a cooling.
While the kiddies enjoyed themselves thusly, the older folks wended their way to the shore front for a plunge.

FLYS TO HER WEDDING IN AIRPLANE.
When Sergt. D. C. Rorapaugh, of the Maryland National Guard Air Unit, was caught between love and duty because the weekly drill period of his organization coincided with the date set for his marriage to Miss Margaret L. Gaffney, the problem was solved by carrying the bridal couple in airplanes from Logan Field to Washington for the ceremony. The time spent in the air by Sergt. Rorapaugh was credited, to him as drill, and his wedding took place as planned. Mrs. Rorapaugh formerly lived at 4004 Ridgewood avenue, Baltimore. The couple were married by the Rev. Joseph M. Moran, of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Washington. After the ceremony, Sergt. Rorapaugh and his bride flew back to Logan Field in the airplane which had taken them to the Capital.
