Burial was in Zion^Luth-eran cemetery. * Mr. Gross is survived by a daughter, Miss Elsie Gross, and four sons, H. Milton, S. Raymond, Walter K., and John H. Gross, Jr. Mr. Gross was a member of the Board of Education of Baltimore county for 12 years. He was 74 years old. 21 PER CENT. INCREASE IN AUTOS ON STATE ROADS. Motor vehicle traffic in Maryland on State roads has increased 21 per cent, in a year, according to a test just concluded by employees of the State Roads Commission. The check showed an increase of almost 50 per cent, in the number1 of foreign cars using the Maryland highways. William Dillfelder, thirty-two, escaped convict, was arrested while; walking along the streets of Baltimore city. Vivian Phillips, at Towson, was broken into and the Captain's new Hudson Sedan stolen. Immediately the county police got busy and the machine was located in Ohio and the thief arrested. ----------o---------- SILAS M. TALBOTT GRANTED ABSOLUTE DIVORCE. Judge Walter W. Preston signed a decree in the Circuit Court at Towson granting Silas M. Talbott, of White Hall, an absolute divorce from Mrs. Delia Talbott, >, - now resides in Salisbury. Tl\e divorce^ was granted on the ground of abandonment. ----------o---------- LINNEY ESTATE GOES TO WIDOW. The will of Arthur E. Linney, late of Relay, was left for probate in the Orphans' Court at Towson. He leaves all of his property, real and personal, to his widow, Mrs. Mary Linney. The will was executed June 27, 1912. COUNTY SEAT RESIDENCE CHANGES HANDS. Capt. Vivian Phillips has sold a house on Burke Avenue, at Towson, to Mrs. Mary C. Loose. The revenue stamps attached to the deed indicate that the consideration was $8000. ----------o---------- AVIATORS LAND WITH NEW PLANES. By the will of William Stude, of Catonsville, filed for probate in the Orphans' Court at Towson, $2,000 of life insurance is bequeathed to his brother, Otto Stude, with instructions to divide the same equally among the testator's three sisters, Dora Stude, Emile Stude and Frau Johanne Gosling.
