These examinations, he declared, had revealed that approximately 80 per cent, of the pupils were handicapped by physical defects. The follow-up system, he said, worked out in cooperation with the Children's Aid Society and the County Realth Department, resulted in adequate medical treatment for the great majority of such cases. The physical defects, such as adenoids, weak eyes, tonsil poison, abscessed teeth, if not taken in time, will handicap a child seriously not only in his work at school but in his work
| in life, Mr. Janney asserted.
Recent exhaustive tests Mr. Jan-
| ney recalled, showed that Baltimore county was the only county in the State in which all the schools had obtained results in education above the standard. He suggested this was due in large part to physical training.
He argued that elimination of physical examination and physical exercise under trained teachers would deprive the children of poor parentss of an equal opportunity with children whose parents were able to send them to private schools.

Like Great Battles, Political Campaigns Are Won Only Through Organization!—Lfet Us Have Another President Of The Cleveland Or Wilson Type.
(Continued from Page 11 of the trusts and protected industries to the campaign funds of the Republican Party, and the investi-'gation has gone far enough already to show that if the next election can be purchased Chairman Butler will have the funds to do^BBw
We have be^n speculating on what the West and Northwest will do to place the Government in safe hands, and how New York and other States will do, but it is time now for the Democrats and all other good citizens of Baltimore county who believe in good government to do the duty that lies nearest to them, and work from now until the polls close on election day for the success of Davis and Bryan.
Baltimore county has generally done its full duty in Presidential elections, and it will in this one if the Democrats will only do their duty. We have a large normal Democratic majority; this can be greatly increased in this important election.
What missionary work have you done Have you spoken to your neighbors of its importance? Don't wait for the politicians to do all the work, but as a good citizen do your part. There are citizens who you alone can influence; a word from you and they will act. Why not give the word. Let us have anothed President of the Cleveland or Wilson type in the White House—men who are leaders—not one of the type who is led.
Let us all pull together.
ROLL CALL TO BE SOUNDED ON NOVEMBER 11.
Copies of a bugle theme entitled "The Roll Call," were sent out from headquarters of the Fifty-eighth Infantry Brigade, Maryland National Guard, to commanding officers of all Maryland National Guard units. The call will be sounded simultaneously in many towns throughout the United States at 11 o'clock, Armistice Day.
Organization commanders of National Guard units were ordered by General Reckord to tender the services of a bugler for this purpose in connection with any plans contemplated by any locality in which National Guard units arae located.
The sounding of the "roll call" will be followed by a two-minute silence, and then, if so desired, "taps." The idea, which is being sponsored by the League of Remembrance, will be carried out over radio, aboard boat, in schools, churches and other public places.

There are lots of concerns in the city that can beat 'Mose' playing golf and blowing big horns—but none of them can touch liim when it comes to making good clothes or selling at low prices. "Mose" is a past master at this business and he has no competition.
They come and go and fume and spout and pass out and are soon forgotten—while "Mose" goes merrily along serving his people—the sons of the fathers who dealt with him 35 years ago, and the sons of their sons who are just coming into manhood and will follow in their fatheros footsteps.

"MOSE11 SELLS EVERYTHING AT LOW PRICBS, THE loud criers of the clothing business boast of their many "brands"—this the make of "so and so," and this the "other fellow"—but they don't say that any of them are mado in Baltimore.
"Mose" has but one brand— "Kahn's Good Rothes"—His own good make—made right in your home town by your home pt^ple in "MoseV own work rooms on his own premises—and that "brand" stands for everything that's good ia manufactured clothing.
And making good clothes as "Mose" does—and selling them at low prices as he does, are the reasons that he does such a wonderful business—bigger than any half dozen stores in "Old Town" put together, and he's growing bigger every day.
