J *???????????????????????????????????????????????????* The March term of the Circuit Court for Baltimore County was convened on Monday by Chief Judge T. Scott Offutt and Associate Judge Walter W. Preston. The grand jury was drawn and W. Kennedy Boone, og near Govans, was selected as foreman. Other members of the grand jury follow: I. eynolds, Theodore R. Bosley, Lewis R. Slade, R. Thomas Cofiell, Otis M. Swam, Thomas Elliott, William A. Albright, Shade F. Ensor, Walter Ewre, Francis H. Fogle, Charles W. Grover, August J. Busse, William J. Harrison, George T. Dorett, Christian H. Nelson, Geo. A. Miller, J. A. Miller, W. S. Winkler and William T Daniels. In charging the grand jury Judge Offutt said that generally speaking, good order prevailed in the county The civil docket was called and assignments made for the special trial docket. The trial of cases on the magistrate's triad docket was taken up on Tuesday. The Petit jury is as follows: Harry F. Hook, Matthew J. Doyle, Wm. H. Timanus, John H. Subock, Wm. J. Owens, Nathaniel Shipley, James W. Kemp, Edward A. Cockey, Jr., Chas. L. Caples, William R. Wiley, Levi B. Bahm, Streett B. Fogle, Charles H. Burns, John F. Brogan, Wm. C. Fisher, Harry Groom, Charles R. Roller, Robert B. Gerstmyer, Samuel Parker, Moses Nofsinger, Adam Reier Wm. McEwan, Harbert F. Mitchell, J. Edward Hack and Gilmor B. Shaffer. Ex-County Commissioner and Mrs. William P. Bosley, who spent several months at the Albion Hotel, Baltimore City, reopened their home on their farm at White Hall on Wednesday of last week, where they will spend the summer. ----------o---------- WHITE HALL FOLKS ENTERTAIN WOODLAWN FOLKS RETURN FROM FLORIDA TRIP. Former Sheriff Samuel C. Mahle and wife, of Woodlawn, have returned from a trip to Florida. TOWSON TRACT CHANGES HANDS A deed was filed at Towson by which Elmer R. Haile and others convey a tract of land on Willow avenue, Towson, to the Towson Company. The stamps attached to the deed indicate that the consideration was $10,500. The property had by deed of even date been conveyed to Mr. Haile by Marion H. Merryman. DR. W. T. BAILEY ATTRACTING GOOD ATTENDANCE. SURVEYOR WORKS UNDER GUARD AFTER HERMIT'S THREAT. • Like the early surveyors who mapped out the country in Colonial days, Charles B. Wheeler of Towson, who is surveying the Merridale development for part of the county sanitary system, works under a guard. Catonsville policemen have been, assigned to go with him following his assertion that William R. Meyers, a veteran of the World War, threatened him as he attempted to work near the Colerain road, where Meyers lives a hermitlike existence in a little cottage. Completion of the survey was halted when Meyers appeared with a shotgun and ordered the county men to "clear out of here." The survey is part of the preliminary work for the sewerage system and disposal plant that is to be constructed there. ALBERTON COUPLE WED. Miss Nina E. Devall and George H. The Women's Club of Dundalk held its meeting last night (Friday) at the home of Mrs. Budd, 17 Admiral Boulevard.
