The object of this suit is t0 procure a divorce a Vinculo Matrimonii for the Plaintiff from the Defendant, Hazel Baker Buck. The Bill states that the Plaintiff was married on or about the 4th day of May, 1918 to the Defendant, Haze'l Baker Buck, with whom he resided until about the latter part of the month of August, 1918. That the Plaintiff is a resident of Dundalk, Baltimore County, Maryland; and that he has been a resident of the State of Maryland for more than two years preceding the filing of his Bill of Complaint, while the Defendant is a nonresident of the State of Maryland and resides in the City of Clarksburg, State of West Virginia. That there are no children as a result of said marriage. That although the conduct of the Plaintiff towards his wife, the said Hazel Baker Buck, has always been kind, affectionate, chaste and above reproach, she, the said Hazel Baker Buck, has, without any just cause Or reason abandoned and deserted him and has declared her intentions to live with him no longer, that said abandonment has continued uninterruptedly for at least three years, is deliberate and final, and the separation of the parties is beyond any reasonable hope of reconciliation. That since the abandonment aforesaid the said Hazel Baker Buck has committed the act of adultery with various men whoj>e names are unknown to the Plaintiff, and that about three years subsequent to the abandonment aforesaid the said Hazel Baker Buck bore a child, the father of which child is some other than the Plaintiff.
