The letter, addressed by C. M. Miles and 74 others, was one of the first communications from a large group of citizens favoring a fare increase that has been received since letters on the case bebgan pouring in. Up to the present there have been letters which registered protest against an increase from hundreds of city patrons living within the one-fare zone. There have been protests from individuals outside of the one-fare zones against the two-fare zones. However, the tone of nearly all the letters from the two-fare zone patrons has been a protest against the two fares rather than an increase of car fare. ----------o---------- HIKE TO OVERLEA.
