Mills for Syje. TW75?S higb.lv reputed mui yahiable ,"//',':V, Baftjprmilk Falls, with thirty acres ofland, fainted oil the Banks of Hudson ¦late of Jtvi*r-York, and about si Kty miles from the city. Tii's property comprehends two Crist Mills, with live run of stones on the most modem and approved"principle, together with a complete set of machini ;---, such as elevators for '.Nina', and Hour, coiyveyors, hop- per.b.'yrs and i:ia ens, agreeably to Hhe latest iinprn . ments of Evans's system. The Bolt- in.e; Cloths are new, and the whole in excellent repair. Likewise, a fall of about finny feet high, unoct upied, im- mediately above, the present mills, extremely wed calculated for a Paper-Mill, or any other factory, without in the least interfering' with the other mills* The advantages attending this -property are numerous, and of a nature which rarely characterise singular establish- ments. Situated in tile vicinity «f so import- ant a. market as New-York, and on so respect- able a navigation as Hudson river, the only route for the produce of the Northern and Western World, a facility pf purchasing the wheat at the mill, and of sending the/produce to market, is here experienced to Ml extent which no other situation cm boast of. From 40 to i0,00u bushels of wheat has been manu- factured annus! ly between'March and January, and from 60 to 70,000 could with equal e.sse be ground were the winter season excluded, which of late j ears has been so u.iU-l i hat the interrupt! .1 ofthe navigation has seldom been of long- continuance. The security and convenience of a sloop of any burttteu lying so contiguous to tHc mill that the elevators discharge the cargo where- ver the Millet wishes to deposit? it, and the facility of loading the Sour on board immedi- ately from the Mill door, so materially dimi- nishes labor and expedites bf.-sihess that one vessel will be found sufficient to serve the fac- tory , and perform more than two ordinarily do in such employ.
