ABOUT eight hundred acres of most valua-
ble LAND, situated upon the Potomac river,
near the cities of Washington, Alexadrla and
George-town; the greater part of which is
prime bottom, and the remainder fine wood
land. On this farm is a most elegant dwell-
ing house, possessing an elevated and com-
manding view of the above places, and the sur-
rounding country. Also, tenant's houses, barn,
tobacco house, and stables, two excellent
fisheries, and a ferry from Prince-George's
countyto Alexandria. For beauty of prospect,
fertility of soil and advantage of situation, no

Mills for Sale.
TK'JSE highly .reputed and valuable Mills,
EtiXermilk Full:;, with thirty acres of land,
smutted on the Hanks of Hudson sWer,
state of New-York, and about sixty miles from
the city. This property comprehends two
Grist Mills, with five run of stones on the
most modern and approved principle, together
with a complete set of machinery, such as
lcevators for wheat and flour, conveyors, hop-
per-bags and kreens, agreeably to the latest
improvements of Evans's system. The Bolt-
ing- Cloths are new, and the whole in excellent
repair, Also, a Saw-Mill and two Dwelling-
Houses, commanding a beautiful and semantic
view of the Hudson ar.d West-Point; a Coo-
tiers' Shop and Dwelling, together with other
out-houses and conveniences necessary to ren-
der the establishment complete. Likewise, a
fall of about thirty feet high, unrox u;>i< .1, im-
mediately above the present walls, extremely
well calculated for a Paper-Mill, or any other
factory, without in the least interfering with
the other mills. The advantages attending
this property are numerous, and of a nature
¦which rarely characterize singular establish-
ments. Situated in the vicinity of so import-
ant a market as New-York, and on so resp'ect-
iible a navigation as lie : 911 rivea-, the only-
route for the produce of the Northern and
Western World, a facility of purchasing the
wheat at the will, and of sending the produce
to market, is here experienced to an extent
which no other situation can boast of. From
40 to 50,000 bushels of .wheat has been manu-
factured annually between March and January,
and from 60 to 70,000 could with equal ease
be ground were the winter season excluded,
which of late years has been so mild that the,
interruption of the navigation has seldom been
of long continuance.

that the elevators discharge the cargo where-
ver the Miller wishes to deposite it, and the
facility of loading the Hour on board immedi-
ately from the Mill door, so materially dimi-
nishes labor and expedites business that one
vessel will be found sufficient to serve the fac-
tory, and perforin more than two ordinarily
do in such employ.
Also, a Tract of 1000 acres of Land, situat-
ed about 60 chains from the above Mills, well
covered with timber, on which is an excellent
iron mine and through which the Buttermilk-
Fall stream passes, affording several situations
or erecting of iron works.
The estate will be sold on reasonable terms,
and property in or near (lie city of Baltimore
will be taken at a fair valuation for one half ol
the amount if required.

in hand will take place at the counting house
