Cummiug, of said County, praying the bene-
fit of the " .Act for the relief of sundry in-
solvent debtors," piisscd at November session
eighteen hundred and five, on the terras
tioned in said act ; a schedule of his property
and a list of his creditors, on oath, as far us
he can ascertain them, as directed bj
said act, being annexed to his petition ; and
the said. County Com > bei cd by com-
petent testimony, tint the said John dimming
has resided the two preceding years within
the state oi Maryland, prior to the passage
of the said act; and the said Jolm Cum.,ling
at tlie time of presenting his petition i
foresaid, having produced to the said court,
the assent in writing of so many of his cm tu-
tors as have due to them the amount of two-
thirds of tlie debts diie by him at'the passing
the said act.
It is thereupon adjudged and ordered, by
the said court, that the said John dimming
(by causing a copy of this order to be. insert-
ed in some one of the newspapers in the city
of Baltimore, every other day for three months
before tlie ninth day of May next) give no-
tice to his creditors to appear before the said
County Court, at the Cottft-Hoftse, in the
said county, at nine o'clock in the forenoon of
the said ninth day of May next, for the pur-
pose of recommending a trustee for their be-
nefit, on the said John dimming', then and
there taking the oath by the said Act pre-
scribed for delivering up his property.

The subscribed shares of the Farmer's
Bank having- already risen above par, and be-
ing in great demand, the directors deemed it
to be their duty to give every facility in their
power to the citizens of every part of the
Western Shore, to become proprietors of a
Stock, to which experience iias already at-
tached an high degree of confidence and. art
enhanced value, and which from every ap-
pearance, would rapidly appreciate who,.ever
the subscription of the surplus shares should
remove the possibility of procuring the stock
at a lower value, than the successful! man-
agement of the institution and the public opi-
nion should have conferred on it, notwithstand-
ing, therefore, that the cl alter directed that
the subscription Books f. this stock shall be
opened at Annapolis, yet the directors hold
themselves at liberty and have determined it

date the citizens of the several counties, who
