Athens (Georgia) January 24, 1807.
Doctor Samuel H. P. Lee,
Sir,
I have, for a considerable time, neglected
the performance of a duty which I owe to hu-
manity ; the declaring to you, my approbati-
on of the Pills, which are sold here, under
your agent, Mr. Herbert, of Augusta. I
had been convinced of their virtues before I
left Connecticut. ; and I have found, in this
country, their great utility, by a considerable
experience, both in my own family, &, ameng
the students of the University. I have no
hesitation of declaring, that I believe, Leo's
(New-London) Pills to be one of the. most
useful medicinal preparations the world ha3
yet seen ; and that they are peculiarly use-
ful and beneficial in Southern and Dillious
Climates.
I am respectfully, Yours,
J. MEIGS.
The above mentioned Pills arc sold at War-
ner & Hanna's Bookstore, corner of South
Gay and Baltimore-streets; Si. by J<.- ri Vance

will please to take notice, that unless' tht u-
