100 Dollars Reward.
RAN away, on the 26th instant, from the
subscriber, living in Bush River .neck, Harford
coumy, Maryland, two negro men, one named
BEN, about 35 years old, 6 feet high, strait
and well made, of a darkish complection ; h'gh
nose ; has lost one of his upper fore-teeth ;
generally wears his wool platted or queued, and
plays on the violin. The other, named HAR-
RY, about25 "yeaivsofage, 6 feet high, dark-
ish complection; a remarkably handsome fel-
low, and when spoken to, has generally a plea-
¦ant countenance. The end of one of I.'., lit-
tle fingers has been mashed by a piece of tim-
ber, the nail split, and the end of the finger
\ rendered blunt: wears his wool gene-
neralty platted and turned up with'a comb.
These negroes are brothers, and both very
good sawyers, and are much accustomed to
lie wing timber with the broad axe. Their com-
mon working cloatbs were, a short round-
about jacket, of coarse brown cloth, and lined
either with green or yellow baize, and shirts
and trousers of Rusua sheeting, with good
fell hats. They probably look with them vari-
ous oilier cloaths, which cannot be described
The above reward will be given, for securing
the saidnegroes in any jail without the state of
Maryland, or fifty dollars for each. If taken
in Harford county, fifteen dollars, and if in any
other comity within the state, thirty dollars
each, with all reasonable charges if brought

The Subscriber offers forSaie
The following TRACTS of LAND, lying in Al-
legany county, Maryland, viz.
1. " Land flowing with milk and honey," con-
taining1 in the whole about 2747 acres. A great
proportion of this tract is in natural meadow,
vyhich is intersected by a number of small ri-
vulets ; the remainder is heavily timbered,
and well . lapted to the raising- of small grain.
It lies about forty miles to the south -.west effort
Cumberland, is on the waters of the Great
Yo'.o-boughany, and about 4 miles distant from
the main road leading through Virginia to the
n country. The same is divided into
•:.01! 1 tracts, comprising from 300 to 400 acres
each, to suit purchasers.
2. " Good Hope." This tract lies contigu-
ous to the "land -Sowing with milk and ho-
ney," and contains 389 acres, 120 whereof are
natural meadow, the residue is heavily timber-
ed, and in the certificate is described "the
first quality land."
3. " Clover Bottom'Ties on the Little Cross,
iiigs, about 3 miles south of Braddock's road,
contains 132 acres of land, a part, of which is
well calculated for meadow, liio remainder is
Weil timbered) and of the first quality. On
this tract there is a Grist and Saw mill,
both of which might be put into good
at a very small cxpence. Tlr; G-ri'st mill is
three stoics high, and has an excellent pair of
country stones ; there is also a wheel for it . „., 1
of Burrs.
4. " Cornucopia". This tract contains 1100
acres, and is tlie reside nee of Mr. Dan. Grani

The one-fifth of the purchase money will be
required in hand, the residue in five annua)
