In Baltimore County Court, j Notice is hereby Given, J February 3d, 1807. That the subscriber of the city of Baltimore ON application to tiie judges of the said county court, by petition in writing of Camp- bell S. Asiex, of s.i'ni county, praying the be- nefit of tiie " Act far the releif of sundry in- sdveuldebtors," passed at November session, 1805, onthe '.-J-nis mentioned in the said act j a schedules of his property and a list of his creditors, on oath, as i'av as lie can ascertain them, as directed by the said act, being an- nexed to his petition ; and the said county court .being satisfied by eompetent testimony, that the sud Campbell S. Askew has resided the 2 preceding years within the state of Maryland, prior to the passage of le said act; and the said Camp&eu S. Askew at the time of pre- seating his petition as aforesaid, having pro- duced to the said court, the assent in writing of so many of his creditors as have due to tin in the amount of two thirds of the debts due by him at the time of passing the said act. It is thereupon adjudged and ordered, by the said court, that the said Campbell S. As- kew (by causing a copy of this order to be inserted in the Federal Gazette, every other day for three months successively, before the 9th day of May next) give notice to his credi- tors to appear before the said county court, at the court-house in tiie said county, at nine o'clock in the forenoon of the said ninth day of May iveit, for the purpose of recommend- ing- a trustee for their benefit, on the said Campbell S. Askew, then and there diking the oath by the said act prescribed for deliver- ing- up his property. ON application to the judges of the said County Court, by petition in writing of John Cumming, of said County, praying the bene fp of the " Act for the relief of sundry in- solvent debtors," passed at November session eighteen hundred and five, on the terms men- tioned in said act ; a schedule of his property and a list of his, creditors, on oath, as far as lie can ascertain them, as directed by the said act, being annexed to his petition ; and the, said County Court being satisfied by com petent testimony, tliut the said John Cumming has resided the two preceding years within the state of Maryland, prior to the passage of the said act; and the said John Cumming at the1 time of presenting his petition as a foresaid, having produced to the said court, the assent in writing of so many of his credi- tors as have due to them the amount of two- thirds of the debts due by him at the passing he said act. It h thereupon adjudged and ordered, by the said court, that the said John Camming (by causing a copy of this order to be insert- ed in sonic one oi the newspapers in the city of Baltimore, every other day for three months before the ninth day of May next) give no- tice to lus creditors to appear before the. said County Court, at the Court-House, in the said county, at nine o'clock in the forenoon of the said ninth day of May next, for the pur- pose of recommending a trustee for their ue- nefit, on the said John Cumming, then and there taking the oath by the said Act pre- scribed for delivering up his property. The subscribers being appointed commissi- oners by an act of the Legislature of the state of Pennsylvania to take subscriptions for mak- ing a turnpike road from York to the state line on a direction far Baltimore : Do hereby give notice that a subscription book for a ca- pital of 75,000 dolls, in shares of 100 dolls each will be opend at the lir_.se of Samuel Spang- ier Innkeeper in the borough of York, on the 4th day of May next, from the hour of 9 un- til 3 and in like manner for the five succeed- ing days unless the capital stock should be earlier subscribed ', and unless the capital stock shall tie all or nearly all subscribed within the above mentioned six days in the borough of York, the books will he opened at the house of William Evans, Inkeeper in the city of Baltimore, on the lithday of May next, from the hour of ten until three, and will continue open during the same houra, the two following days, unless the, capital Block, should be earlier subscribed.
