one of them is of a dark color ; the other is
a yellowish bay, remarkably well formed.
They have long been used in my cart, and
are well known in the city and neighborhood

THE.Stockholders will take notice, th.it
agreeably to the charter oi the said bank, an
election will be held at the banking house, in
Calvert-street, on Monday, the first day of
June next, between the hours of 9 o'clock, a.
m. and 3, p. m. for fifteen Directors, to conduct
the affairs of the said bank for the ensuing
twelve months, nine of which fifteen directors
shall be practical mechanics or manufacturers,
within the description contained in the follow-
ing bye-law, as established by the board of
directors: " No person shall be considered as
coming within description of a practical me-
chanic or manufacturer, unless he hath learn-
ed and actually wrought at some mechanical
or manufacturing trade for the term oi three
years at least, and for twelvemonths next pre-
