Persons wishing to purchase this valuable Medicine, are requested to be particular in inquiring for Lee's Anti-Bilious Pills, put up in wooden boiies, having on the outside wrap- per the {signature of Richard Lee & Son. This is necessary, as there are other Pills of the same name. The operation of these Pills is perfectly mild, so as to be used with safety by persons in every situation, and of every age. They are excellently adapted to carry off superfluous bile, and prevent its morbid secre- tions ; to restore and amend the appetite ; to produce u free perspiration, and thereby pre. vent colds which are often of fatal ennse quences—a dose never fails to remove a cold, if taken on its first appearance. They are ce- lebrated for removing tipbitual costiveness, sickness of the stomach, & severe head-ache ; and ought to be taken by all persons on a change of climate. Theyhave been foundremarkably efficacious in preventing and curing disorders attendant on long voyages, and should be procured and carefully preserved for use by every seaman. Messrs. Richard Lee and Son, The high opinion I have of your Bilious Pills, and a desire to make knawn their utili- ty for the benefit of mankind, I wish you to publish the following: For two months past, I have been afflicted with a violent sickness at the stomach, an in- clination to vomit, and loss of appetite—by tak-ng two dosea ef your pills, I am restored to a perfect state of health—which induced my wife to try them also, which was attended with the same good effects, being now able to attend to her domestic concerns : in my opinion, this medicine is unequalled in sto- maeh and bowel complaints, not being attend- ed with that griping pain, common to other remedies.
