of Maryland passed at November session
1806, notice is hereby given, to all persons
holding- lots in the town of Cumberland, Al-
legany county, and on which ground rents
are now due, that unless they come forward ,
and disc barge the same, on or before the first j
day of January next, the said lots so stand, i
jug charged with ground rent, and remain. |

1st of January, be put up at public sale, and
sold to the highest bidder, upon a credit of
sivty days, as by the said act of assembly,
entitled " An act authorising the collection

pver one of his eyes, and a little pock-mark-
ed. He is a French boy but spesks very
good English Had on when he went away,
a half worn hat and brown nankeen jacket,
and a red flannel shirt, and a coarse linen

of old shoes. The above reward will be
given for apprehending said boy, in town or

Wishing to decline the Tanning business,
I will dispose of my Tan-Yaki), in the town
of Dumfries, state of Virginia, with all the
stock of Leather, Bark, Ike on hand, or will
sell the Yard separately, and work out the
stock; and will at Che Same lime, give the pur
chaser the privilege of win khig lit a .lock. It
is needless to state tne many advantages this
place affords lor purchasing bark of every des-
cription, and of excellent quality ; a quantity
of country hides may likewise be purchased
low, and Spanish hides brought to the yard at
a small expense. The Dwelling House is
large and comfortable, with every necessary
out iiouse, all in g-ood repair, and every thing
in the yard requisite or carrying on the tan-
ning business The lot has been n«wly palled
with the best materials, and has onitan excel
lent Garden, in good cultivation. The Yard,
without the stock, will be sold on a liberal
credit, or low for cash or wet goods. The
Yard will contain from 1500 to 2000 hides.
