county, a sorrel HARE, of six years old,
about fourteen and an half hands high, in
very good order, a star on her forehead, two
hind feet, soma white, her off eye partly a
glass eye, shod all round, and has been work-
ed in gears. The owner is requested to prove
property, pay charges and take her away.

judges of Washington county court, at the
October term, for the benefit of the insolvent
laws, passed in 1805 and) 80S.
Thi9 is a circumstance which the subscrib-
er much "egrets, but after laving used eve-
ry exertion in his power to avoid it, he has
not been able to succeed. Although he las
met with many losses, yet his property at a fair
valuation, would still be nearly equal to his
debs, but as his creditors have refused to
take property in that way, he must submit—
he must sacrifice the fruits of 10 years in-
dustry—and he still hop.es it will be in his
power some day, to settle every claim, for
he shall always consider himself bound in
honor, to pay every cent, if ever in his power,

A Certain Lady,
(Who passed by the name of Anderson)
arrived here from the city of Washington, in
a hack stage, on Thursday evening the 13'.h
instant, and engaged lodgings tor herself and
two hired servants, in my house ; and also
entered two Gray Horses in my Stables, al-
ledgihg them to be her property. This Lady
left my house on Sunday morning last, with-
out giving me any notice of her intention to
depait, and left behind her the two servants
and the horses above mentioned. I do there-
fore! he. eby request that she will come for-
ward and pay her bill, otherwise the horses
will be sold at the expiration of '20 days for
the recount thereof As it is possible that
some accident may have happened to this la-
dy, so as to prevent her return, I shall there-
consider myself obliged to any person
