An Infalliable Cure for the
Tooth Ache
I know that various opinions exist concern-
ing- my advertsing the price of curing the
Tooth Ache—some saj I am joking with the
public, others sa) if I had really discovered
a cure for that tormenting malady 1 ought for
the sake of humanity, to make it puoiic, and
support the fact by all necessary and convinc-
ing evidence : I have taken the advice, and
therefore
1st. Declare that I have given my newly
discovered Essence of Sulphur, I .hink to near
one hundred different persons who we, e af
flicled with the pain arising from hollow or
decayed teeth, and I do not know of one in-
stance where it has failed in producing a cure
nor do I believe it ever will, if used accord-
ing to iny directions ; lor I am persuaded
from u knowledge of its nature and eflects,
that this Essence has power to remove the
pain of hoilow or decayed teeth, to as great
a certainty as water has power to extinguish
fire.
21. I do know that it has no tendancy to de-
stroy toe Enamel of the Teeth, or injur, the
gums, but on the contrary believe it will pre-
vent the si urvy in the gums, and preserve
file teeth from decay.
3d It maybe uken inwardly with safety i
I have swadowed it often, and wili at any
time drinli it, to remove the scruples of the
timorous,
4th. If ever the above mentioned Essence
should tail in producing the desiri d effect, &
the too'h or teeth for which it was taken to
cure, should at anv future period he extract-
ed, all money received by me tor such cures
shall be returned and double the sum if re-
quire.;.

Some time in the Spring of the present
year, I was very much trouble with the tooth
ache. I hid thoughts of having it drawn ;
1 by chance happened in conversation with
Mr. Guy, to whom I related my intention.
He advised n.e to avoid extracting the tooth,
as he presumed he had a specific, and re-
quested me to make a trial ; when he men-
tioned this to me, I recoiled thai 1 was told
by some pvtson that he had cured him of the
tooth ache ; I determined to give, it a trial,
and made use of his solutio , perhaps three
or four times, and have not had any return of
it
About three months since a colored girl of
mine was also afit.ctcd with the same pain —
I sent her lojVir. Guy, who also furnished
her with-, I presume, the same solution, and
after three or four washings, the pain was re-
moved, and lio complaint since.

Certificate of the Rev. Alexander M'Cair.e.
I hereby certify ti.al I was afflicted with

March to the begining of June ; at which
period 1 was on my way to the Dentist, when
I met with a friend, who undesrstandiug
where I was going, andvised mc to go to
Mr, Guy, and he would cure me U ith much
persuasion I agreed to make the trial not be
lieving however, that 1 derive much advan-
tage (if any) from it. But to my ijreat sur-
prize and satisfaction, I was pertcc .ly cured,
by applying his tooth water only twice, since
wln.h 1 have been as tree of the tooth ache
as I have been at anv period of my life.
