JOHN FRICK, K, , MATTHEW BROWN, 5 Ame good lanTr;ti the souiIt-western country, ami to enable him to do so, oilers the following property for sale, viz. A TRAC'l of LAND, situ de in the county of Fairfax and state ofVirgina, whereon I now reside, containing upwards of 2100 acres. 1 his land is well ada, ted to farming, is tevel, well watered and timbered, full one hall be- ing in wood, Hear the centre of which stands the Bounty court house and other public bund- ings which are included within the bounds of a town lately kid out at this place, hu thorisetl by an act of the general assembly of Virginia, on several of which lots buildings hava been erected, Sec. On one acre tliereef, near the court-house, is a large two story brick House, rented and occupied as a tavern, toge- ther with Urge stables, kitchen, and house tor theretitemeut of a family, he. Perhaps there is no situation between the eastern and west- ern waters more public, or that affords better stands for taverns, stores, mechanics, &c. par- ticularly to an inn-keeper, calculated to act on a large scale. The Little River turnpike paved road, leading from Alexandria to the westward, pusses immediately at this place, as also the main pubic and post roads leading to and from Alexandria, Georgetown, the city of Washington, Baltimore, and the Western country—distance from Alexandria 14, and from the city of Washington 15 or 16 miles. To accommodate a purchaser or purchasers, I would dispose of tne property at this place, or any part thereof, separate from the other lands. The annual rent of the small part now improved, is near eight hundred dollars, and at little additional expence would produce from one thousand dollars to twelve hundred dollars per annum, exclusive of lots that ought be sold or rented on ground-rent; and I wtuld divide the land in two or three pans to suit purchasers. On that part occupied by myself, area comfortable dwelling house, sufficient for the accommodation of a targe family, with barn, s'ables, and other convenient out-iiouse.s, orchards, &c As it is pre turned a person clis- posed to put chase would first view the prenii ses, a further description is thought unne- cessary. A small piece of Land within one andahalf" miles of the courthouse, situate on Accotink Run, containing 19 acres, mostly rich and valu- able grassland, v, >wh affords a tolerable mill seat, a. d was purchased with aviewot erect- ing one thereon, the timber for which (of ex- cellent quality) hath been cut and squared. A Lot in the town of Alexandria, with a two story brick house, kitchen and stable thereon, situate near the centre thereof j and About IbOO acies of Land, situate on the waters of Licking, iit the county of Bourbon, and st.ite of Kentucky. This land is classed as second rate, is rich, lies well, and by judges of that country said to be worth from fii e dol- lars to eight dollars per acre, and on which are several small settlements. For the property in Fairfax and Alexandria, indisputable titles will be made ; the title to the Kentucky land is nought to be good, an investigation on that subject having lately taken place, and is patented in my own nanie. .No- thing short of a strong desire to provide for a large and growing family, should induce me to oi'.cr this property or sale. ivty terms will be snehascannot fail to accommodate a purchaser, as but a small portion will be required in hand, and on securing the balances satisfic.oiily, to meet arrEjigcments which in such cases I wish to make, lengthy credits will be givei. I would receive in part pay ment good lands in the state of Tennessee, not more than thirty miles from Nashville, or the waters o: Uock-Kiver.in said state j but the title thereto must be well estab- lished and secured. Application must be made, to RICHARD RATCLH'I'E. It will appear from the above scheme that there are not two blanks to a prize, and that the prizes will be paid without any fledtiction. From the advantage offered to adventurers and the object to which the money is to be ap plied, the Managers hope and expect they will make a speedy sale of the Tickets, so as to enable them to commencejldrawiitg at an early dav. Tlie Prizes will be paid sixty days after tha drawing ; and such as may not be demanded within twelve months after, will be considered as generous donations to the objects of the Lottery. Bond has be en given to the Mayor and City-Council for the faithful performance of the Managers Tickets may be had of either of the Mana- gers and of such other persons as may be ap- pointed by them- Prizes in the Lotteries now drawing in this city, will be received in pay- ment tor Tickets.
