Yesterday arrived the ship Sally, captain
Hinckley, from Liverpool. She sailed on
the 28th of August, and bronght London
papers to the 25th. The Revenue from the

The " Opposition" continue to censure

It is reported, some pacific communicati-
on has been made to ur ministers from Pa-
ris. Such overtures we expect will be made
but think they have not yet.
An order is issued for the capture of
Olden burgh, Mecklenburg, Kniphausen,
and Pappenburgh vessels, if found trading
with our enemies.
The order against the vessels of Meck'en-
burg &c. is in retaliation of Bonaparte's block-
ading decree. "It is probable the order
will be extended to other neutrals, if any
should remain."
It is reported Murat is to be appointed
king of Switzerland.
Dispatches to July 29, have been receiv-
ed from admiral Berkeley.
Official accounts from admiral Berkeley,
of all the recent events on the coast of Ame-
rica are contained in these dispatches.
Tbere is nothing now to prevent the dis-
cussion of the affair of the Le- pard and the
Chesapeake, as soon as Mr. Munroe receives
his instructions.

A new petition from the lush Catholics
is to be presented at the next session of par-
liament.
We have Dutch papers to tfe 20th and
French to the 15th inst. New directions
have been given to \. event the landing in
Holland.of any goods of Briiish manufac-
ture, and these orders are to be rigorously
enforced by the new commissioners From
Frsnce.
An attempt lias been made to set fire to
the deck-yard at Chatham.
It is reported, thai the Rochefort squa-
dron have lately made an,attempt to get out.
It is said to be bound to Buenos Ayres with
troops.
