Contains extracts from the Council Records and the Accounts of the Treasurers of the City. No records survive for the years 1590-94, 1601-4, 1613-32 and 1630-6.

This second volume overlaps in coverage with vol. 1, with the period 1636-42 covered in vol. 1. Also includes an Appendix of illustrative material for the period 1608-39.
