October 4,1902, in the place of Charles W.Heuisler, who notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties dur- c ing said period. Justice William Reed was authorized to act as Police Jus-tive for the Northern District, from 8 A.M., October 2,1902, in the place of Justice J.McKenny White, assigned to sit as Magistrate for Juvenile causes, as above mentioned. Justice Jacob Rab was authorized to act as Police Justice for the Northwestern District, from 3 P.M., to-day until relieved, in the place of Justice Adolph Sauber, who notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties from 3 P.M. to-day, until 10 A.M., October 3,1902. (Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., assigned to the Western District). Notice of Attachment. A Deputy Sheriff called upon the Board to-day and read to it notice of attachment proceedings, returnable the second Monday in October 1902, respecting the money, now in the custody of the Secretary of the Board, taken by the police from Mary Dile Jamison, at the time of her arrest, on or about September 16,1902. (See Property Record No. 33212). It was ordered that the matter be referred to Mr. Alonzo L. Miles Counsel, for his attention. Promulgation of Rules & Regulations. The Secretary reported to the Board that the Rules & Regulations for the government of the members of the police department, adopted on August 1,1902, and ordered printed together with the compilation of the laws and ordinances, on said date had been received from the printer and were ready for distribution. It was thereupon ordered by the Board that the said rules and regulations be promulgated to the members of the Department, by having each member thereof furnished with copy of same by Thursday, October 2nd, 1902.
