report stating that Officer Jaecksch was permanently incapacitated for further police duty by reason of the physical disability named therein. It was ordered, therefore, by the vote as shown hereunder, that Officer John H.Jaecksch of the Eastern District be retired on one-half pay; said retirement to take effect on and after October 9,1902. The vote upon the retirement of Officer John PI. Jaecksch, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. Eligible List. Appointment of Detective. To fill the vacancy in the position of Detective, caused by the dismissal of Detective Jesse B.Mobley, the Board, by the vote as hereunder given appointed eligible William M.Atkinson a detective; said appointment to take effect October 6, 1902. It was ordered that he be assigned to the Southwestern District.
