31 Transfers. Upon the recommendation of Lieutenant A,L.League, Commander of the Police Patrol Boat, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Officer James E.Busick be transferred from the Police Patrol Boat Service to the Eastern District; said transfer to take effect at once. It was also ordered that Officer John H.Connor be transferred from the Eastern District to the Patrol Boat Service, vice Busick; said transfer to take effect at once. Complaint vs. Officer George A.Harkins, N. W. District. In the matter of complaint against Officer George A.Harkins Northwestern District, as referred to in the proceedings of September 29, October 3 and 6,1902, it was ordered that formal charges be preferred by the Marshal against the said officer George A.Harkins of conduct unbecoming an officer in accordance with the recommendations contained in and based upon the report from the Deputy Marshal under date of October 6,1902, which report is filed in connection with this minute, as Exhibit No. 813. Requisition. The Secretary reported to the Board that on Thursday, October 9,1902, the signatures of Commissioners Morris & Fowler were obtained for requisition 632 upon the Mayor & City Council for $38,742.83, to pay the salaries of the Marshal and Deputy Marshal from October 1st to 15th., to pay the Police Force for two weeks from September 25th., to October 8,1902, together with sundry bills, and that the said requisition had been forwarded to the Mayor & City Council. Said requisition called for;- Salaries................$35,507.36 Expenses................ 3,235.47 The action of the Secretary was approved. .f\r ;c
