f\p 33 States Government for the arrest of Edwin Burdick,a deserter . Upon the recommendation of the Marshal,it was ordered that Officer James D. Casey,Northwestern District, be permitted to retain Ten Dollars donated to him by the United States Government for the arrest of a deserter,-Augustus H.Nicholson. Boxing Exhibit ion,—Report. A report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of boxing exhibition given at the Germania Maennerchor Hall October 10th,1902,under the auspicies of the Eureka Athletic Club. Said report was read and ordered filed. See Exhibit No. 814. Boxing Exhibition—Application for Permit.-- Application was received from John Friedel,1727 E. Pratt street, for permit to hold a boxing contest at the Broadway Institute,October 20th,1902. It was ordered that the said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation. Boxing Exhibition. Application for Permit. Application was received from the Eutaw Athletic Club for permit to hold Sparring Exhibition at Germania Maennerchoir Hall, October 20,1902. It was ordered that the said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation. Transfers. Upon the recommendation of Captain Charles W.Gittings, N.E. District, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that the following transfers be made, to take effect at once, viz:- That Officer George Woelper, be transferred from A. to B. Division. That Officer Frank R.Schaefer, be transferred from C. to A.Division.
