The vote upon the above was as follows:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. ( See papers filed as Exhibit No. 820.) Repairs to ?/estern District Station-house. Report was received from the Deputy Marshal recommending that four additional gas jets be placed in the cell room of the Western District Station-house, and submitting with his report the following bids:- Philip H.Ohm.....................$ 9.00 George Knipp & Bro............... 13.00 It was ordered, by the vote as shown hereunder, that gas jets be placed in cell room of the Western District Station-house, as recommended by the Deputy Marshal, and that the bid of Fhilip H.Ohm be accepted. An application was received from Sergeant Max Mauer that he be continued on the sick-list of the Department for a period of four or five weeks.
