| 47 tain George G.Henry, and by the vote as shown hereunder, dismissed from the force:- Charges^ "Not properly patroling his post from 1.10 to 2.45 A.M., October 18,1902; insubordination, by failing to return to his post when ordered to do so by his sergeant, William H.Miller, and leaving his post and going to the Station-house; using language unbecoming an officer to his superior." The vote upon the finding and verdict in the case of Officer John L.Hundertmark, as above, was as follows:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. Repairs to Southwestern Station. A report was received from the Marshal,transmitting with his approval, recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, that repairs be made in the stable of the Southwestern District Station-house to cost in the neighborhood of $16.00 It was ordered by the vote as shown hereunder that repairs referred to in report of the Marshal as mentioned, be made. The vote upon the above was:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. Report filed as Exhibit No. 826. Complaint of Louis D.Passano Against. Officer Thomas McGrain. In the matter of complaint, preferred by Louis D.Passano against Officer Thomas McGrain, Northern District, as referred to in the proceedings of October 15,1902, a report was received from the Marshal transmitting statements of Officer McGrain, Conductor William H.Bausman and Motorman John J.Franklin. The Board believing Officer McGrain to be without blame in the circumstances to which Mr. Passano refers, decided to ignore complaint above mentioned, and it was so ordered.
