October 21,1902, and that he,the Secretary, had assigned Additional Justice Neilson Poe, Jr., to sit at the Western District Station in the place of Justice Loden, until relieved. The Secretary also reported that Justice Adolph Sauber, Northwestern District, had notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties from 3 P.M., October 21st, until 8 A.M., October 23rd, 1902, and that he, the Secretary, had assigned Justice Jacob Rab to act as Police Justice for the Northwestern District from 3 P.M., October 21,until relieved. The action of the Secretary, as above, was approved. Complaint From C.H.Boone, 2746 E.Baltimore street. Communication was received from C.H.Boone, 2746 E.Baltimore street, complaining of vehicles coasting, etc., on Baltimore St. neighborhood of Patterson Park avenue. It was ordered that the said complaint be referred to the Marshal for his attention. Horse - Purchase of. Upon the recommendation of David P. McClelland, Lieutenant of Mounted Police, and by the vote as shown hereunder, it was ordered that there be purchased one sorrel horse from J.A.Frederick, Carroll County, Maryland, for the sum of $125.00, less, $40.00 for old horse #70, worn out in service, in exchange,price net $85.00 The vote upon the purchase of horse, as above, was as follows :- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea.
