| OGC 55 to be absent from his duties on Monday and Tuesday,October 27th and 28thf 1902,and that,the secretary had assigned Additional Justice Nelson Poe,Jr., to sit in his stead on the dates mentioned. The action of the secretary as to the assignments,as above referred to, was approved. Donations. Upon the recommendation of the Captain of Detectives, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Detective T.B.Hall be permitted to retain three dollars donated to him by Mrs. Charles Merrymand for taking her husband to Mt.Hope Asylum. Upon the recommendation of the Captain of Detectives,approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Detectives Thomas F. Hogan and Joseph E. Coughlin, be permitted to retain Twenty Five Dollars and Thirty Cents donated to them by Doctor Percy G. Wade,of the Maryland Insane Asylum,for services rendered in the case of George Cline,an escape from said institution. -Wrestling Exhibition-Permit . Upon the recommendation of the Marshal.it was ordered that permit be granted to Charles J.'.'Zeiss to hold a wrestling exhibition at Germania Maennerchor Hall on Tuesday evening,October 28th, / 1902. —Boxing Exhibition--Report __ A report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of boxing exhibition held at Broadway Institute,October 20th,1902, under the auspices of the Glendale Athletic Club. The said report was read and ordered filed. See Exhibit No. 831. __________________________ V ---Election Instructions.-- It was ordered that instructions, as per copy filed as Exhibit No. 832, be issued for the guidance of the police in connection with the election to be held in Baltimore City,November 4th,1902 —As to sale of liquor on Election Day— |
