Purchase of Muslin for Pillow-cases. Upon the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that there be purchased for the use of the Central District Station-house one bolt of muslin for pillow-cases. The vote upon the purchase of muslin, as above, was as follows:- (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No.835. President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. Gum Blankets. Eastern District. Upon the requisition of Captain Thomas B.McGee, Eastern District, recommendation and approval of the Marshal, it was ordered that there be purchased for the use of the Patrol wagon, Eastern District, two gum blankets. The vote upon the purchase of blankets, as above, was:- President Upshur, Yea, Commissioner Morris, Yea, Commissioner Fowler, Yea. (See recommendation filed as Exhibit No.836). Transfers. Upon the recommendation of the Deputy Marshal, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that the following transfers in the Southwestern District, be made, to take effect at once:- That Officer Timothy Goonan. be transferred from street to house duty. That Officer Frederick H.Shipferling. be transferred from house to street duty. Upon the recommendation of Captain George G.Henry, Southern District, approved.by the Marshal, it was ordered that Officer John W.Craig be transferred from "B" to "0" Division, vice Officer John L.Hundertmark. Report was received from the Marshal transmitting with his approval, recommendation of Lieutenant David P. McClelland,
