Trial.
Officer Mark Stinchconb. northern District, was tried upon
found guilty of the following charge, fined $5.00 and warned if
he should be convicted by the Board of a similar offense in the
future he might expect to be dismissed from the force.-
CHARGE;-
"Having been one hour and twenty-five minutes behind the return of his squad 4.20 A.M., October 26, 19024, having been asleep on his post while on active duty October 26, 1902."
Assignments of Magistrates.
The Secretary reported to the Board that Justice Janes A. Fechtig,Jr., Central District, had notified the Department on Saturday November 1,1902, that he desired to be absent from his duties Sunday November 2, 1902,and that he, the Secretary, had assigned Additional Justice Neilson Foe, Jr. , to sit at the Central District in the place of Justice Fechtig.
The action of the Secretary in the assignment of Justice Foe to the Central District, as above, was approved.
Additional Justice Neilson Foe, Jr., was assigned to sit at the Southwestern District Station-house from 8 A.M., to-day, until relieved, in the place of Justice John T.Ross, absent on account of leave.
Charles W.Heuisler, Magistrate for Juvenile Causes, having notified the Board that he desired to be absent from his duties from 3 P.M., to-day, until 8 A.M., November 5, 1902, Folice Justice J.McKenny White was assigned to sit in the Juvenile Court during the absence of Magistrate Heuisler, as above, and Justice William Reed was assigned to sit at the Northern District Station-house from 3 F.M., to-day, until relieved, in the place of Justice White assigned to the Juvenile Court, as mentioned. Justice William H.Clifford was authorized to act at Folice Justice for the Northwestern District from 3 P.M., to-day, until relieved, in the place of Justice Adolph Sauber, absent on
