| account of Sickness. (Additional Justice Poe, at the S.W.) Justice Janes Correll was authorized to act as Police Justice for the Western District from 3 P,M., November 4, 1902, until relieved, in the place of Justice Daniel J.Loden, who notified the Board that he desires to be absent from his duties on account of leave. (Additional Justice Poe at the S.W.) Boging Exhibition. Report. Report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of Boxing Exhibition held at Germa'nia Maennerchor Hall October 31, 1902, under the auspices of the Eureka Athletic Club. Said report was read and ordered filed, see Exhibit No.846. Application for Permit. Application was redeived from the Eutaw Athletic Club for permit to hold Boxing Exhibition at Music Hall, November 12,02. It was ordered that the said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and report. Detail. Democratic Headquarters. Upon request, by telephone, it was ordered that a detail of one detective (Mark Hagan), and four (4) policemen, be made for the Democratic Headquarters to-morrow night, November 4,02, election day. Death of Retired Officer. Report was received from the Marshal advising of the death of Lieutenant Arthur Napier, retired, which occurred 5 o'clock A.M., November 1, 1902. |
