| OFFICE OF BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS. Baltimoref Md.. Friday. November 7r 1902. Board met; present, Messrs Upshur. Morris and Fowler. The minutes of the previous meeting, Y/ednesday, November 5, 1902, were read, approved and adopted. Trials. Officer Michael A.Maloney, Northern District, was tried upon, found guilty of the following charge and fined $2.00 CHARGE:- "Being twenty minutes behind the return of his squad, 4.25 A.M., November 6, 1902, also asleep on his post, while on active duty, in basement of house corner Callow Avenue and Lennox street." Sergeant Edwin B.Bullock, Northeastern District, reported for having been twenty minutes late for roll-call, November 6, 1902, was excused. Officer George S.Escaville, Northwestern District, was tried upon the charge of having been sixteen minutes late for roll-call, 7 P.M., November 6, 1902, found guilty thereof and fined §1.00 Officer Herman Kemper, Central District, reported for having been thirty-nine minutes late for roll-call, 4.30 A.M., November 4, 1902, at the Northwestern Station-house, was excused. Donation. Upon the recommendation of the Captain of Detectives, approved by the Marshal, it was ordered that Detective R.H.Thomas be permitted to retain twenty-five dollars, donated to him by Mr. Moses I'/einstein, 823 E.Baltimore street, for the recovery of one diamond ring, valued at $175.00 |
