| Application was received from Messrs Flack & Knabe, Fulton &. Patterson Avenues, for pernit to hold Sparring Exhibition at Flack's Kail, 1308 N.Fulton avenue, Saturday, November 15th. It was ordered that the Said application be referred to the Marshal for investigation and recommendation. Complaint from Thomas S.Gregorius Counsel for Peter Kalzulis, 219 W.Camden St. Report was received from the Marshal upon the subject of complaint received from Thomas S.Gregorius, Counsel for Peter Kalzulis, saloon-keeper, 219 W.Camden street, against which saloon-keeper it is claimed by Mr. Gregorius, the police are operating to the injury of his business, etc. The Board believing from the report of the Marshal that the complaint is unfounded decided to ignore it, and directed that Mr. Gregorius be informed that, in the opinion of the Board the officers have done nothing beyond their duty with respect to Mr. Kalzulis. Report of the Marshal filed as Exh. 851. Complaint vs. Officer Henry Fischer. Southwestern District. A communication, as follows was received from Police Physician Pinkney L.Davis:-"Mr. Kinsey, Dear Sir:- Officer Henry Fischer of the 3.17.District reported sick this evening. I at once went to his home, and found him under the influence of liquor. Yours very respectfully, November 6, 1902. PINKNEY L. DAVIS." It was ordered that the Captain of the Southwestern District prepare charges against Officer Henry Fischer, based upon the report made by the Police Physician Pinkney L.Davis. |
